Con Go Market (Cam Nhuong Commune, Cam Xuyen, Ha Tinh ) is located close to the coast, where fishermen from all over the region trade seafood. Although it has a tradition of over 400 years, the market still retains the original culture of the coastal fishing village residents.

We invite you to visit Con Go fish market through the photo series "Fish market that has existed for over 400 years" by author Le Huy Long, to know that every day, at 3am, when the sun has not yet risen, the night dew is still covering the road, the women of the fishing village here call each other to go to Con Go fish market. When the sun rises, the market ends, so that traders can bring fresh seafood to all the markets in the area to consumers. The photo series was submitted by the author to the Photo and Video Contest of Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .

Con Go fish market is located along the breakwater of Cam Nhuong commune (Cam Xuyen - Ha Tinh), about 2 km from Thien Cam tourist area. The market opens at 3am every day and ends at dawn.

The products are purchased by small traders from fishermen’s boats and then brought to the provincial markets to sell or to restaurants and hotels. To have fresh products, they have to go to the market from dawn to catch the first boats.

Trays of fresh shrimp and squid are carefully brought ashore by fishermen.

Under the flashlight, the baskets of the freshest fish were filled.

On the shore, groups of traders with flashlights on their heads worked enthusiastically and excitedly, bustling with buying and selling, with bright smiles clearly visible on the faces of the traders and fishermen here.

The early morning market in Con Go only lasts about 3 hours, and closes when the sun rises. At this time, seafood has been transported by traders to markets in the province and to restaurants and eateries. In addition to visiting the morning market, visitors can experience watching the sunset on the sea.
