Fire breaks out in house inside 1,000m² plot of land in HCMC

On August 27, Tan Vinh Loc Commune Police (HCMC) is coordinating with relevant units to investigate the cause of a fire at a house in an alley on Vo Van Van Street, Tan Vinh Loc Commune, HCMC.

Initial information, at around 10am the same day, people discovered smoke and fire coming from a house inside a plot of land of more than 1,000 square meters. This area is fenced with iron, surrounded by brick walls and is inhabited by people, who grow plants and raise livestock.

Discovering the fire, people shouted and tried to put it out but failed. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police, quickly dispatched fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. The fire was extinguished shortly after.

The fire caused the corrugated iron house to burn down and collapse. The cattle barn area was also burned. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
