Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones under their management; heads of departments, branches, and sectors according to their functions and tasks to urgently review plans, proactively arrange forces and means to be ready to organize and implement evacuation support work.

At the same time, evacuate people in unsafe areas, especially in weak houses, low-lying residential areas, places at risk of coastal and riverside landslides, areas affected by big waves, flooding due to rising sea levels, heavy rains, and at risk of flash floods and landslides.

At the same time, implement measures to protect production, especially agricultural production, support people in harvesting agricultural products; organize mooring and mooring of rafts and cages, aquaculture, strictly prohibit people from staying on rafts and cages during natural disasters.

In addition, regularly inspect, proactively arrange forces to guard and block, resolutely prevent and not allow people and vehicles to travel or fish on rivers, streams, flooded areas, underground areas, and overflows; prepare enough food, drinking water... and be ready to deploy forces, vehicles, and equipment for rescue... Localities and units organize environmental sanitation to prevent disease outbreaks.

The City Military Command, City Police, City Border Guard Command, Department of Agriculture and Environment, and People's Committees of coastal wards and communes continue to check and count boats and vehicles operating at sea.

Thereby, guiding ships to move away from, not enter areas at risk of storm impact and take safe shelter from storms; guiding and supporting people to deploy necessary measures to ensure the safety of ships at anchorage to avoid fire, explosion, or sinking at storm shelters. Vehicles are not allowed to operate at sea from August 24, 2025.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Central Hydrometeorological Station, continues to monitor and promptly inform about storms, rain, floods and damage caused by natural disasters.

Proactively direct the implementation of work to ensure the safety of the dike system, irrigation dams, protect and reduce damage to agricultural production; coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and units to request hydropower companies to proactively calculate and organize operations to ensure the water level of the reservoir, prevent dam safety loss, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

The Department of Construction and the Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company focused their forces on inspecting the regulating lakes, anti-flood pumping stations, and deep-flooded areas to operate anti-flooding operations promptly and effectively. At the same time, they directed the Urban Infrastructure Management Center to manage and operate the Nam My dam and reservoir to ensure the safety of the works and the lives and property of the people.

Da Nang Electricity Company closely monitors the development of natural disasters to take measures to handle electricity safety, promptly cut off power in deeply flooded areas; ensure power supply to anti-flood pumping stations. IOC Intelligent Operation and Monitoring Center continues to organize and monitor to provide information on storms, floods, damage, etc. to the leaders of the City People's Committee.
