Organizing units of the program "Connecting love - Joining hands to rebuild" at Trung Minh

Representatives of units and businesses give gifts to students of Trung Minh Kindergarten.

Attending the program and presenting gifts were comrades: Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; leaders of a number of units under the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; leaders of the Mass Work Department, the Navy Political Department; leaders of the Youth Social Work Center.

Accompanying the delegation were comrade Vuong Thuy Hang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union and Yen Son district.

Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Do Van Phoi and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee for Mass Mobilization Vuong Thuy Hang presented gifts to students in Trung Minh commune.

The program is sponsored by units and enterprises of the Vietnam National Committee for People with Disabilities; Vietnam Youth Academy Training Center; Manulife Company Limited (Vietnam); Thien Long Group Joint Stock Company; Social Work Club of Love Trip, Hai Phong Branch; Social Work Club of Love Trip, Ho Chi Minh City Branch.

Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Do Van Phoi presented gifts and encouraged people in Trung Minh commune affected by storm No. 3.

The delegation donated 100 million VND to support the repair and upgrading of school libraries in Tuyen Quang province. At the same time, they donated water purifiers, school uniforms, utensils, children's toys, school supplies for students and many necessities and foods such as cakes, candies, milk, instant noodles... to students, children in schools and households in difficult circumstances, affected by floods in Trung Minh commune with a total value of over 640 million VND.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Han, Director of the Youth Social Work Center, presented support money to upgrade the library and toilet facilities at schools in Tuyen Quang.

Trung Minh is a poor commune of Yen Son district with over 98% of the population being ethnic minorities, the rate of poor and near-poor households is over 80%. During the recent flood, 74 households had their houses damaged by landslides, and 42 households were urgently evacuated. Due to the impact of rain and flood, many areas of rice and crops in the commune were damaged and lost...

The program "Connecting love - Joining hands to rebuild" is a practical and meaningful activity organized by the Youth Social Work Center in coordination with units and businesses to target localities affected by storm No. 3. Thereby, it has promptly shared difficulties, contributed to localities to overcome damage, helped schools and disadvantaged families stabilize teaching and learning and stabilize life after floods.
