On the morning of August 10, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command coordinated with Hong Duc University to organize the opening ceremony of a Thai ethnic language training course for 60 comrades who are officers and employees of the Quan Son District Military Command; commanders and deputy commanders of the Military Commands of communes and towns in the district. Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Huu Thuat, Standing Member of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

Classroom overview.

During the 2-month period, students will learn the Thai language and writing; at the same time, they will be introduced to topics on ethnic minority culture, ethnic policies of the Party, State and Army, national defense and security work in ethnic minority areas...

The training course aims to help trainees better understand the culture and customs of ethnic minorities, as a basis for improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, helping people develop the economy, maintain political security, and social order and safety in the area. Thereby, strengthening the great national unity bloc, building an increasingly solid people's position.
