Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues Plan to implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW of the Politburo

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy signed Decision No. 2369/QD-BVHTTDL promulgating the Plan to implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era (hereinafter referred to as Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW) and the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW issued together with Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP dated May 17, 2025 of the Government (hereinafter referred to as Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP).

The plan aims to clearly define the main contents and tasks to concretize and fully implement the viewpoints, goals, orientations, tasks and solutions identified in Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP, in accordance with the functions, tasks and conditions, and practical situation of the Ministry in the new era.

To achieve the goals set out in Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP, in addition to regular tasks, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires agencies and units under the Ministry to specify, organize and disseminate the contents and implement specific tasks of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP. At the same time, heads of agencies and units under the Ministry organize research and fully disseminate the contents of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and strictly implement specific tasks in the Government 's Action Program issued with Resolution No. 140/NQ-CP.

Agencies and units under the Ministry are responsible for reviewing programs and action plans that have been issued and are still in effect in the fields under the scope of state management advice to implement the Party's Resolutions and the Government's Action Program, including contents related to the development and organization of law enforcement, to adjust and synchronize with this Plan, to be completed in 2025.

Heads of agencies and units focus on directing the implementation of assigned tasks in the Ministry's Plan and the attached Appendix; strengthen inspection and supervision of implementation, and periodically report implementation results to the Ministry every 6 months for synthesis and reporting to the Government.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Legal Department to preside over and coordinate with agencies and units to monitor and urge the implementation of the Ministry's Plan, promptly report and recommend to the Ministry's leaders necessary measures to ensure synchronous and effective implementation of the Plan; closely follow related contents in the working program of the Party Central Committee, Politburo , Secretariat, National Assembly, National Assembly Standing Committee, Government, and Prime Minister to carry out reporting according to regulations./.
