The patrol was conducted under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Kim Xuan Giang, Chief of Lung Cu Border Guard Station, and Major Luu Dung, Head of the Chinese delegation. The two sides met, discussed the security situation in the border area, and coordinated a joint patrol on the border section from Marker 424 to Marker 426. The forces jointly patrolled, protected, and ensured the integrity of the border marker system.

In reality, the border markers remain firm, reflecting the stability and development of the people's communities on both sides of the border. People in the border area not only earn a stable living but also actively participate in border protection work, strictly implementing agreements and legal documents related to the border between the two countries.

The highlight of this patrol was the smooth and effective coordination between the officers and soldiers of Lung Cu Border Post and the friendly forces. The soldiers at the northernmost point of the Fatherland clearly demonstrated their sense of responsibility, making an important contribution to maintaining security and order in the border area.

The bilateral patrol is within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Chinese Ministry of National Defense signed on November 12, 2017, to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship in border management and protection. Thereby, it contributes to consolidating the solidarity and close relationship between the Border Guard of Ha Giang province and the Border Guard of Chau Van Son, China.
