Tuoi Tre contributor in London, Nguyen Hung, said the atmosphere this time was much more bustling and solemn than the first time the England women's team won the Euro 2022 championship right at Wembley Stadium. The previous celebration was held on a smaller scale in Trafalgar Square.
This time the crowd was larger and they were more excited because the England women's team had proven their mettle by successfully defending the European Championship title thanks to excellent strikers such as Chloe Kelly, Michelle Agyemang and goalkeeper Hannah Hampton.
Kelly set up Alessia Russo for the equaliser in the final against Spain, and it was she who scored the decisive penalty in the shootout to give England the win.
Goalkeeper Hampton saved two penalties. Meanwhile, Agyemang, only 19, scored two goals in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, helping England's women's team reach the final.

The welcome ceremony for the champions was held from 12pm to 1pm, so some people took their lunch break to celebrate with the team. The England women's team travelled on two open-top buses along the avenue in front of Buckingham Palace. Afterwards, the team lifted the trophy and interacted with fans on a stage in front of the palace.
England's successful defence of the European Championship crown represents a milestone for women's football that has eluded English men's football for many years. It also marks a significant increase in the number of women's football fans in the UK.
The final between the England and Spain women's team had over 16 million viewers in the UK - the largest number for a television event so far this year.
