After 3 days of exciting activities, the 2025 National Press Festival with the theme "Loyal, creative, courageous, and innovative Vietnamese press for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" closed on the afternoon of June 21 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi .
In his closing remarks, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Press Festival, said that the 2025 Press Festival had nearly 130 booths displaying outstanding press products from more than 80 central and local press agencies. The booths were elaborately invested, diverse in form and content, showing a panoramic picture of the professional and modern development of the Vietnamese press.
The cheerful and open atmosphere between journalists and the people created a warm and friendly press conference, helping the public understand more about journalism and the sacrifices and efforts of journalists. This is truly a great encouragement and motivation for Vietnamese journalists.
Through exhibitions, displays, professional, cultural and artistic activities, the National Press Association highlighted the contributions and strong development of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press over the past 100 years, while promoting press products, achievements and creativity of journalists and members of the Vietnam Journalists Association nationwide.
One of the most prominent highlights of the 2025 Press Conference is the clear demonstration of the trend of digital transformation and technology application in journalism.
Many agencies have brought multimedia press products and new technology applications such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality to attract readers, showing the initiative and determination of the press in keeping up with the pace of development of advanced technology in the world .
Specialized forums on artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, journalism economics... have attracted great attention, proving that these are issues that we are struggling with and seeking solutions to.
“The 2025 National Press Festival has ended, but the values, lessons and inspirations it brought will continue to resonate. I believe that with its 100-year glorious tradition, steadfastness, dynamism, creativity and high sense of responsibility, the Vietnamese revolutionary press will continue to reap even more success, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people,” emphasized journalist Nguyen Duc Loi.
Within the framework of the 2025 National Press Festival, the Organizing Committee and the Award Council voted and decided to award 5 A Prizes, 7 B Prizes, 16 C Prizes, 19 Encouragement Prizes for "Impressive Exhibition Booths"; 3 A Prizes, 3 B Prizes, 12 C Prizes for "Impressive Events and Activities" within the framework of the Press Festival; 8 A Prizes, 14 B Prizes, 20 C Prizes, 15 Encouragement Prizes for "Impressive Press Products".
Vietnam News Agency won 2 A prizes, 2 B prizes and 1 C prize: A prize in the category of "Impressive exhibition booth"; A prize in the category of "Impressive press products" for the 3D multimedia press work "Hung ca thong nhat" of VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper; B prize in the cover of the Spring Newspaper At Ty 2025 of Tin Tuc Newspaper; B prize in the category of "Impressive press products and works" for the press photo work "Tuong - A unique traditional theatrical art form" by author Nguyen Khanh Hoa, Photo Editorial Board; C prize in the cover of the Spring Newspaper At Ty 2025 of Sports and Culture Newspaper.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of "Contributing to the success of the 2025 National Press Festival, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day" to collectives, units and individuals; Certificates to entrepreneurs and enterprises "Accompanying the 2025 National Press Festival, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".
As a traditional beauty, the 2025 National Press Festival will present all publications participating in the Festival to navy and border guards./.
