Surprised when his bank account suddenly received more than 200 million VND, a young man in Hue immediately reported to the police to avoid the risk of fraud and asked for support to return it to the owner.

On March 3, An Cuu Ward Police (Thuan Hoa District, Hue City) said that the unit had just supported and guided Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (22 years old, residing in An Cuu Ward, Hue City) to carry out procedures to return the amount of 219 million VND that someone else mistakenly transferred into his account.
Previously, on February 26, Hung received a call from his family informing him that Mr. Phan Xuan Tung (residing in Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province) had mistakenly transferred 219 million VND into his account.
Because Hung's bank account was not registered to receive balance change notifications, he was completely unaware of this incident.
After checking again, Hung discovered that 219 million VND had been transferred into his account since February 22.
Not being greedy about the mistakenly transferred money and also being wary of the risk of fraud, on February 27, Mr. Hung went to An Cuu Ward Police to report the incident.
The ward police received the information and guided Mr. Hung through the necessary procedures to return the money to the person who sent it by mistake.
Receiving the money back, Mr. Phan Xuan Tung could not hide his joy and sent his deep thanks to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung and the An Cuu Ward Police force.
