The commune has a high-tech coffee production area of ​​about 300 hectares, currently 100% of the coffee products in the area meet the standards for use as raw materials for processing and export. Mr. Le Quang Linh, a farmer in the commune, currently cultivating 9 hectares of coffee in the high-tech coffee production area, said that participating in the production area brings many advantages to the family, especially the access to and application of science and technology in production to increase product value and protect the environment.

Currently, the commune's coffee area is 8,715 hectares; tea 694.5 hectares; pepper 114.5 hectares; durian 1,090 hectares; mulberry 183.1 hectares, farmers intercropping high-value fruit trees have contributed to increasing income per unit area of ​​the commune. Along with that, Bao Lam 2 commune implements the program of Supporting plant varieties for farmers to build a model of Growing flowers and vegetables in greenhouses. Building OCOP product brands in the area: granting growing area codes for durian products; granting VietGAP certification to the Cooperative of vegetables, tubers, fruits, mangosteens, avocados... registering GlobalGAP standards for AT Group Joint Stock Company.

Therefore, in the coming time, the local government is determined to promote economic restructuring towards developing digital economy, green economy, circular economy associated with transforming the growth model towards improving efficiency, based on science, high technology, digital transformation and high added value; taking investment attraction, developing traffic infrastructure, digital infrastructure as the driving force, creating space for the commune to develop.

Along with agricultural development, small-scale industry continues to develop sustainably, mainly in industries such as mechanics, tea processing, coffee roasting and grinding, garment making, etc., attracting and creating jobs and increasing income for people. The whole commune has 150 small-scale industrial production establishments. Service activities have contributed to the economic growth of the locality, meeting the needs of people inside and outside the area.
