On the morning of June 17, in Ha Long City, FWD Vietnam Insurance organized a gift giving ceremony for children at the Center for Protection and Care of Children in Special Circumstances in Quang Ninh Province.
Accordingly, FWD Vietnam Insurance representative presented 3 boxes of toothpaste, 20 sets of desks, 100 backpacks and books, 1 set of portable speakers... to children at the Center for Sponsorship and Care of Children with Special Circumstances in the province. This is just one of many meaningful activities within the program Journey Across Vietnam to spread the spirit of "Step forward to live fully" of FWD Vietnam Insurance on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of FWD Group in Asia.
The facility for the protection and care of children in special circumstances in the province is currently caring for 87 children in especially difficult circumstances, such as children with severe disabilities, HIV-infected children, abandoned children, orphans with no place to rely on or whose parents have violated the law. Over the years, thanks to the attention and policies of Quang Ninh province, children under social protection at the facility have always enjoyed higher subsidies than the national average, contributing to creating a better living environment for children, with conditions for integration and more comprehensive development. In parallel with the work of care, nurturing and rehabilitation, the Facility for the Protection and Care of Children in Special Circumstances also promotes career guidance, connecting with vocational training facilities so that children have jobs, income and confidence to integrate into the community.
