Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province chaired the conference. Also attending the conference were comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Lam Minh Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, delegates listened to the summary report, received and explained comments on the Draft (3rd time) Political Report submitted to the 12th Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; and the Draft (4th time) Political Report of the Provincial Party Committee to the Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
The majority of delegates agreed that the draft (4th time) of the draft document was relatively complete; it absorbed and reflected relatively fully and comprehensively the opinions of delegates in previous comments.
Contributing opinions to the Draft (4th time) Political Report of the Provincial Party Committee submitted to the Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, the majority of delegates agreed to add to the first topic in the draft the goal: rapid and sustainable development of Vinh Long province by 2030.
In addition, delegates also contributed many additional ideas to complete solutions to implement the set goals, targets and resolutions.
Specifically: in the field of national defense and security, it is proposed to add the target of Party committees at the grassroots level (commune level) completing their annual tasks well; propose additional solutions to focus on developing the marine economy, attracting and developing tourism; propose breakthrough solutions, make a revolution to eliminate digital illiteracy, popularize digital education, make everyone know how to use smartphones for administrative transactions and other transactions online...
Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province received the delegates' comments. At the same time, he agreed to add the content of the Congress theme "...bringing Vinh Long province to develop rapidly and sustainably by 2030". In addition, he suggested that it is necessary to update information on the marine economy, urbanization rate, agricultural labor rate... and unify data on key component indicators.
