Handing over the Red Cross house

(CT) - On August 27, the Can Tho City Red Cross Association coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Commune to organize a ceremony to hand over a Red Cross house to Mr. Kim Vien's family in So Dua Lon A Hamlet, Thanh Xuan Commune. The house has an area of ​​63.7 square meters, with a construction cost of 120 million VND, of which the Hanoi City Red Cross Association supported 50 million VND, the rest was mobilized by the locality and the family contributed more.

This is an activity in response to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

On this occasion, the Hanoi Red Cross Society presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged households in Thanh Xuan commune. Each gift included 1 household product, 10kg of rice and 1 box of instant noodles, with a total value of more than 6.7 million VND, sponsored by Lock&Lock Ho Chi Minh City Company Limited.
