The new generation Audi Q3 (2026) will officially launch in the European market at the end of 2025, marking a comprehensive upgrade from design, equipment to operating technology. This small SUV is developed on the MQB Evo platform, applying Audi's new design language with a more rounded body, inheriting the style of its senior Q5. The front of the car stands out with a characteristic single-frame grille, combined with LED headlights with large air intakes and digital daytime running lights.
Two-tier OLED taillights, illuminated logos and a full-width LED strip across the rear of the car create a more modern, sporty look. New wheel designs are available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches. The 2026 Q3 offers three powertrain options: a petrol engine (1.5L 148 hp or 2.0L 261 hp), a TDI diesel engine (148 hp) and a plug-in hybrid version (PHEV). The e-hybrid version has a 25.7 kWh battery pack, 268 horsepower, 400 Nm of torque and can travel up to 119 km purely on electricity. Supports 50 kW DC fast charging, the battery reaches 80% in about 30 minutes.
The interior of the car has been completely redesigned and modernized. Most of the physical buttons have been removed, and the traditional gear lever has been replaced with a lever behind the steering wheel. The cockpit is equipped with an 11.9-inch digital display cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, integrating the new MMI interface running Android Automotive OS, supporting applications such as YouTube, AI virtual assistant and over-the-air software updates. A 12-speaker Sonos audio system, head-up display, 15W wireless charging and many other amenities are equipped as standard or optional. Eco-friendly interior materials such as recycled Impressum fabric, Econyl floor from old fishing nets are also widely applied.
The rear seats can slide and recline, increasing the total luggage compartment capacity from 488 liters to 1,386 liters when the rear seats are folded. The suspension system has also been refined, adding a sports suspension option with dual-valve dampers for increased flexibility and smoothness when operating. The 2026 Audi Q3 will be sold in Germany from October 2025 with a starting price of around $51,300, and will expand to other markets from early 2026. The car will be assembled in Germany and Hungary.
