At the beginning, the program goes back in history, back to "The time when our people were slaves and our country was lost/ The scene of poverty and darkness in the sky and earth" (excerpt from the poem " 30 years of our life with the Party" by To Huu). From Sen village in Nghe An to Saigon, the young man Nguyen Tat Thanh decided to leave to find a way to save the country.

At the Binh Duong ward bridge, the journey continued after September 2, 1945, the young government had to face countless difficulties: famine, ignorance, internal and external enemies, and the plot to re-invade by French colonialists.

Our people waged a protracted resistance war, starting with the National Call for Resistance on December 19, 1946. For 9 years, the Vietnamese army and people achieved resounding victories, culminating in the Dien Bien Phu Victory that resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world.

The program entered chapter 2: The resistance war against France and America, opening with the song " The Road to the Front" and the dance " Unleashing the Underground Vein of Victory - Dien Bien Victory", performed by the Binh Duong Cultural Center's song and dance troupe and the Vietnamese Wind dance group.
