Impressive art program "Ho Chi Minh City - Bright new era"

On the evening of June 30, at Nguyen Hue walking street, an art program took place to celebrate the 327th anniversary of the formation of Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh - Ho Chi Minh City (1698 - 2025) and the 49th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City officially being honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2025), while welcoming the new Ho Chi Minh City.

The art program " Ho Chi Minh City - Radiant New Era" takes place in 95 minutes and includes three parts: Radiant South, Heroic Land, Uncle Ho's City Enters a New Era.

The program opens with the "Radiant South" segment, recreating the journey to explore the fertile and affectionate land. With the combination of music , folk dance and visual images, this segment vividly depicts the beauty of nature, culture and identity of the ancient Vietnamese people.

Next is the section "Heroic Land" depicting the indomitable fighting spirit of the people of Saigon - Gia Dinh throughout history. The heroic images from the uprisings, especially the period of resistance against the US to save the country, were vividly recreated. Thereby expressing patriotism and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The program ended with the part "Uncle Ho's City enters a new era" with modern and youthful colors, expressing the city's strong aspiration to rise.

Many songs such as "My Fatherland Has Never Been So Beautiful", "Love of the Red Land of the East", "In the Middle of East-West Avenue", "City of Faith"... were performed by artists in a new and impressive way.

The vibrant, joyful melodies of the songs: New Era in Uncle Ho's City, City of Faith, Between East-West Avenue, Ho Chi Minh City - We are Vibran and Strong Aspiration seem to open a new, beautiful chapter, clearly expressing the spirit of innovation and strong aspirations of the young, dynamic city.

In addition to the main stage, the secondary stages along Nguyen Hue walking street are also bustling with diverse activities. Circus performances, traditional music, traditional sports and martial arts… attract a large number of locals and tourists to watch.
