On August 26, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to hold a press conference on the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2025.

The program aims to encourage and show gratitude to teachers working in remote, border, island areas, areas with difficult socio -economic conditions; teachers educating special subjects, who have made many contributions to the cause of educating and nurturing the younger generation. At the same time, it calls on society to continue to care for and help teachers and students in the above localities.

Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, informed about the new points of the Sharing with Teachers Program in 2025.

Over 10 years of organization, the program has honored 576 teachers who have made many contributions to the education cause.

Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, said that this year, the program will honor the largest number of teachers ever. These are 80 teachers, officers, and soldiers of the Border Guard who are working in 248 communes, wards, and special border areas; teachers working at remote schools, schools in remote areas, border areas, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions; officers and soldiers of the Border Guard (teachers in green uniforms) participating in the work of eliminating illiteracy, teaching children and people in border areas and military areas.

The criteria for selecting teachers to be honored include: Having good moral character and lifestyle; having many contributions to educating local students, creating outstanding changes in the quality and effectiveness of education; having a spirit of perseverance in overcoming difficulties, being dedicated to the cause of education, and being loved by students, parents, and the community.

The program also prioritizes teachers with many years of experience; young teachers who volunteer to teach in the local area; and teachers with excellent achievements. Candidates must have participated in direct teaching for 3 years or more.

The 2025 award ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, in Hanoi . The awarded teachers will receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Medals and savings books worth 10 million VND.
