Unique idea of "carp jumping over dragon gate" in university admission notice

The unique idea of designing admission notices has attracted a lot of attention from students.

This unique admission notice design is not only for simple notification purposes but also impresses with its creativity and outstanding form.

This is the highlight that many students are excited about and share widely during this year's admission season.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Principal of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, said: "Every new student coming to this school has their own aspirations. And we hope that those aspirations will be engraved from the very first moment when they hold their admission notice in their hands."

The admission notice set was designed with inspiration from a moon cake box, like a reunion gift, instead of a warm greeting that the school sends to new students.

On the back of the box are a couple of lines of calligraphy: "Lighting up the desire to fly far/ Starting the journey of liberation" written by Master Nguyen The Son, lecturer and coordinator of the Art Photography program, Faculty of Art and Design. He is also remembered by art lovers as a painter, photographer and independent curator.

The image of a carp reaching for the moonlight implies the desire to reach far, which is the message the school wants to send to new students.

It is known that previously, students entering the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 also received admission notices with interesting and eye-catching designs, respectively according to the themes: "Journey of Youth", "Journey of Treasure of Success", "Journey of Creating Dreams", "Journey of Creating the Future"... In 2025, the admission notices of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi have the theme "Aspiration to Reach Far".

The moment they hold this unique and meaningful gift in their hands, the students will officially become new students of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, with the theme "Aspiration to Reach Far" depicted by the image of a carp facing the moonlight, the admission notices of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts convey a message of perseverance, courage and aspiration to conquer new horizons.

"The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts is a place where knowledge, creativity and aspiration are nurtured in the spirit of openness, integration and interdisciplinary connection, accompanying the strong development of the nation. I believe that each student will shine, contributing to continuing the pioneering story of a young, creative and inspiring school," Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu added.
