6 months, industrial production index estimated to increase 20% over the same period

According to the Provincial Party Committee's report, the industrial production index in the first 6 months of 2025 of Hoa Binh province is estimated to increase by 20% over the same period last year, the highest increase in the same period since 2020. The growth momentum was led by the electricity and gas production and distribution industry with an increase of 25%; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 12.5%; the mining industry also recorded an increase of 10%.

Electricity output in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at 4,230 million kWh, up 31.62% over the same period last year; commercial electricity reached 763.8 million kWh, up 11.41%.

In addition to production, the province also focuses on promoting the development of infrastructure in industrial zones and clusters. Many investment projects are closely monitored for progress, such as the Nhuan Trach, Yen Quang, Binh Phu industrial clusters, etc. At the same time, the province continues to operate enterprise management software in industrial zones, tightening supervision of projects showing signs of slow implementation.
