4 Vietnamese students selected to participate in global technology competition

The list of 4 outstanding students (out of 40 certified students) with the highest individual scores in the "Seeds for the Future" program includes: Mai Vo Phuc Thanh and Pham Anh Quan (VinUniversity), Dao Xuan Bac ( FPT University) and Nguyen Quang Huy (Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology - PTIT).

The four students will have the opportunity to visit Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen (China), attend the "Seeds for the Future 2023" conference in Shanghai with more than 100 outstanding students in the Asia- Pacific region for 6 days. At the same time, they will have a ticket to enter the global Tech4Good competition with the opportunity to receive a startup prize of 100,000 USD and the Startup Sprint premium training program in China.

The program, jointly organized by Huawei Vietnam and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), is a playground for students to explore the latest technological advances in 5G, AI, Cloud, Digital Energy... through the online learning platform Seeds Academy and visit the new technology exhibition center.

During the 6-day program, students divided into groups to develop projects for the Tech4Good competition, applying ICT to solve pressing environmental and social problems, from idea generation to market launch.

At the closing ceremony held on August 28 in Hanoi, representatives of 3 student groups presented Tech4Good projects with the following topics: Using IoT devices to protect brain signals and improve sleep quality; Using ChatBot to assess human mental health, thereby introducing third-party health care services, supporting the reduction of the number of people with mental illness over the age of 24; Using AI to support mountain climbers.
