On April 9, the Department of Industry and Trade announced that 13 enterprises have submitted applications for investment registration in production and business in Hoa Lien Industrial Park. Of the 13 enterprises, 4 are corporations and large manufacturing enterprises with capital of over 1,000 billion VND; the remaining enterprises have capital of around 100 billion VND.
The Council for selecting organizations to invest in production and business in Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster has unanimously selected 4 enterprises that achieved 60 points or more according to the set of criteria. Specifically: Tan Thanh Do Group Joint Stock Company, with an expected investment area of over 23.17 hectares; City Auto Joint Stock Company, with an area of over 14.4 hectares; The Gioi Auto Company Limited , with an area of nearly 2.3 hectares; Minh Long Company Limited, with an area of over 4.2 hectares. All 4 enterprises are from Ho Chi Minh City with a total land lease area of nearly 44.19 hectares; their business lines are manufacturing, assembling automobiles, automobile components, and investing in logistics projects to serve production.
Previously, the City People's Committee issued a decision to establish Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster in Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District on the basis of technical infrastructure of the auxiliary area serving the Da Nang High-Tech Park project with a total area of 58.53 hectares; total investment capital of more than 235 billion VND from the city budget. Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster will attract investment from units with main business lines including: automobile manufacturing and assembly projects and related support services (warehousing, logistics, ...); mechanical engineering projects, production of auto-related components, precision mechanics; supporting industry projects, clean industry, environmentally friendly...
