At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung and leaders of 4 wards awarded Phan Chau Trinh awards to 184 outstanding individuals.
Among them, there are 4 PhDs, 6 Masters, 2 excellent teachers at the provincial level, 52 excellent graduates, 76 excellent graduates, 44 excellent students who won national prizes and first prizes at the provincial level.
Notably, among the individuals honored this year, Le Bao Hiep (student of the University of Natural Sciences , Ho Chi Minh City National University) received the award for the 4th time.
Some individuals have received the award three times, such as: Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan (Paris Cité University, French National Institute of Research), Doan Phuong Nhu Y (student of Szeged University - Hungary), Vo Dang Khoa, Nguyen Bao Tram (students of Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted).
The Phan Chau Trinh Award was initiated by Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province (formerly) to encourage and reward individuals with outstanding achievements in research, study, teaching and important contributions to the movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, and build a learning society in the locality.
After 23 times of organization, Phan Chau Trinh Award has honored thousands of outstanding individuals and groups, from doctors, masters, students, excellent students to teachers dedicated to the cause of education . Thereby, promoting the tradition of studiousness of the young generation of the wards and expressing the aspiration to rise up and contribute to the homeland and the country.
In 2025, in the context of implementing the 2-level local government model, 4 wards formed from the former Tam Ky city coordinated to organize the award, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and joint efforts for the cause of promoting learning and talent in the community.
