1,500 Thai Nguyen youths join forces to support the operation of two-level government

On the morning of July 7, the Central Youth Union launched nationwide youth volunteer teams to support the operation of two-level local governments and provide online public services at the grassroots level.

The campaign attracted more than 4,800 teams with nearly 241,400 youth union members, deployed simultaneously in 3,321 communes, wards and special zones nationwide. In Thai Nguyen, the launching ceremony took place at the Quyet Thang Ward Public Administration Service Center.

With the motto "Understanding the area - Solid technology - Dedicated support - Effective dissemination", Thai Nguyen province has established 111 youth volunteer teams, mobilizing about 1,500 young people, deployed in all 92 communes and wards.

From now until the end of August, the teams will support updating and cleaning population and administrative data after the merger; instructing people on how to use online public services, VNeID identification accounts, and digital applications; training digital skills for grassroots officials; organizing mobile technology consulting and communication on digital transformation.

Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet visited and encouraged youth teams in Thai Nguyen province.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the teams deployed to provide direct support at the one-stop shop. Youth Union members took turns working in shifts, assisting people in handling administrative procedures quickly and conveniently – both in person and online.

The timely, synchronous and enthusiastic participation of young people has contributed to promoting the efficiency of two-level government operations, gradually building a modern and professional administration, serving the people better and better. This is also a specific and practical action of Thai Nguyen youth in responding to the movement "Youth pioneering digital transformation", promoting the spirit of initiative and creativity for the community and the common development of the country.
