History of the Party Committee and People of Phu Thanh Ward (1945-2024) with more than 440 printed pages, size 14.5 x 20.5cm, including 15 pages of photos, printed in color. The book consists of 7 chapters , summarizing the formation, history and development of the ancient Da Dien land and Phu Thanh Ward from its establishment (2007) to the present.
Going back in time, from 2007 onwards, at each period, Phu Thanh land was part of the following administrative units: Phu Lam ward, Phu Lam town, Hoa Thanh commune, Phu Dong commune. Even further back, depending on the area where the local people resided, Phu Thanh belonged to Dong Tac village, Phu Lam village, Thach Lam village or Phu Nhuan village... Every inch of land here contains the sweat and effort of many generations of local people from the time of reclaiming land to establish villages, working in production, participating in patriotic movements against foreign invaders.
Especially since the Communist Party of Vietnam was born (February 3, 1930), leading the people in a general uprising, overthrowing the feudal and colonial regimes, and taking power into the hands of the people in the August Revolution of 1945, under the leadership of the Party, the people of Phu Thanh continued to promote the tradition of solidarity and patriotism, together with the people in the province and the whole country, continuing to win victories in two great wars of national defense.
After the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, especially since the ward was established until now, the Party Committee and the people of Phu Thanh have joined hands to build a new life, implement the Party's renewal policy, promote internal strength, focus on exploiting potentials and strengths, develop socio-economy, maintain national defense and security, build a strong political system, meet the requirements of the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration.
The book records and honors historical events and figures through each revolutionary period, drawing lessons for the new period; at the same time, it demonstrates the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributingto educating traditions and nurturing revolutionary spirit for the next generation.
