Preview of Lexus RX 2026 - new design with a strong sense of the future
The mid-life facelifted 2026 Lexus RX SUV has unexpectedly appeared early in the form of an impressive digital rendering from designer Dimas Ramadhan.

While Lexus has not released any official information, the car enthusiast community has had the opportunity to "admire" the facelift version through a digital rendering from Dimas Ramadhan - the design artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube. According to this rendering, the upgraded 2026 Lexus RX SUV has a design inspired by the next-generation ES sedan - which is also the only model confirmed by Lexus to launch in early 2026.
It is easy to see that the front of the RX facelift stands out with a smaller grille, split headlights (hidden design), a newly shaped LED positioning light strip, and a slim LED taillight bar running across the rear of the car. The overall style is modern, minimalist and futuristic. The Lexus RX has long been a sales mainstay for the Japanese luxury car brand, and was considered the world's first luxury crossover when it was first launched in 1998. With its current fifth generation, the Lexus RX continues to win customers over with its diverse powertrains including gasoline, hybrid and pure electric engines.
However, in the context of the volatile US market, Lexus seems to be quite reserved in launching new products. However, according to many customers who love this car line, the mid-life upgrade of the RX in 2026 is completely reasonable. Aside from the RX facelift, the only confirmed model is the next-generation Lexus ES – expected to debut in early 2026. Therefore, design renderings like Dimas Ramadhan's not only satisfy curiosity but also raise expectations about the future of Lexus design. Although there is no official confirmation, these early renderings somewhat show Lexus' design direction in the coming time: streamlined, sharp and towards modern luxury.
