What's new in the Honda NWX 125 2025 scooter that's about to launch in Vietnam?

According to the Industrial Property Gazette No. 446 (Volume A, Book 2 – May 2025), Honda Vietnam has filed an application to register a scooter model with a new design. Through the images published in the document, it is not difficult to recognize that this is the new Honda NWX 125 2025. This new NWX 125 scooter model was launched by Wuyang Honda in China not long ago. The fact that the Honda NWX 125 has been registered for design copyright in Vietnam shows that this model will likely be launched soon in the near future.
The Honda NWX 125 has dimensions of length x width x height of 1,760 x 800 x 1,110mm and a wheelbase of 1,246mm. The appearance of the Honda NWX 125 has angular and sturdy lines, not as rounded as some current scooter models. The V-shaped NWX125 headlights are bright and can be seen clearly even when riding at night. The taillights and turn signals are neatly designed, elegant, and easy to recognize on the street. Honda also offers many color options for this model, including: black, orange, white, silver and blue. The car is integrated with many modern features such as keyless start system (smartkey), front disc brakes with integrated ABS and convenient USB Type-C charging port.
The digital clock cluster of the Honda NWX125 2025 scooter model displays full operating information, helping the driver easily monitor the vehicle's status. The under-seat trunk has a large capacity, enough to hold a helmet, and there are two convenient front storage compartments. The floor is flat like the Honda Vario, so it is easy to maneuver when moving. The Honda NWX 125 scooter is equipped with Honda's new generation ESP125 engine. The actual capacity of this engine is 124 cc, with a capacity of 9.38 horsepower and a torque of 10 Nm.
Combined with a CVT gearbox for smooth operation. The maximum speed of the vehicle can reach 90 km/h, the fuel tank is 5.7 liters and the fuel consumption is 1.85L/100 km. In China, NWX 125 is distributed in 3 versions including CBS, ABS and ABS-Smartkey, with listed prices ranging from 9,490 - 11,490 Yuan (equivalent to 30 - 37 million VND).
