Every 7 o'clock, Ma A Minh, a boy from Ta Van commune, goes with his younger brother and friends to the Mong culture class at Cat Cat tourist area. A Minh's eyes are always filled with joy when talking about the lessons here.

Mr. Ma A Khoa, A Minh's father, could not hide his peace of mind and pride: "We are also assured because our child is learning good things, and we do not have to worry about controlling him during the summer."

Not only A Minh, but also the children in Cat Cat village, every day at school is a happy day, a day of complete happiness. They are taught dances, how to play musical instruments, and traditional crafts. This is an opportunity for the younger generation to connect with their roots and preserve the cultural values left by their ancestors.

Artisan Giang Seo Ga, who directly teaches the Mong culture class, confided: In the past, during summer vacation, children often asked tourists for money, which damaged the image of Sa Pa. Now, when they come here to learn Mong culture and have fun with their friends, all the children are excited and delighted.

When attending the class, students do not have to pay tuition fees, and the tourist area also supports each student with 100,000 VND/day to buy books for the new school year.

The Mong culture class in Cat Cat village is truly a bright spot, bringing a particularly meaningful summer to children in the highlands.

Not only creating a summer playground for children and preserving traditional values, the class is also seen as an important part of Sa Pa's tourism development strategy.
