At around 11:30 a.m. on May 24, driver Phi Van Luat (55 years old, residing in Tan Vinh commune, Lang Giang, Bac Giang ) drove a container truck with license plate 29H-379.55 pulling a trailer on National Highway 15.
When reaching Ha Linh commune (Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh ), the car suddenly lost control and crashed straight into the house of Ms. Vo Thi T. (42 years old).
At that time, Ms. T.'s family members were having lunch. The incident caused panic among everyone. Ms. T. was hit by a car and had to be hospitalized, breaking her leg.
At the scene, the house had its corrugated iron roof collapsed; the roof, walls, and doors were affected and many items were damaged. The front of the container truck was damaged.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
