La Da Commune was established on the basis of merging two commune-level administrative units, including La Da and Da Mi, with a total natural area of 264.17 ^km2 and a population of 9,435 people. Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee, government and people in the commune have promoted the spirit of solidarity, strived and achieved many important results.

The average annual total cultivated area reached 4,366.8 hectares, exceeding the set plan... The annual budget revenue results always met and exceeded the targets assigned by superiors.
