62 MORE PRODUCTS RECOGNIZED AS MEETING OCOP STANDARDS
As of July, Lao Cai province has a total of 604 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars (of which 553 products have 3 stars, 49 products have 4 stars and two products have 5 stars). OCOP products are widely distributed in localities in the province. Many products have affirmed their position in the market and in stores, supermarket systems and large commercial centers nationwide. Currently, the province has 304 entities participating in the production and trading of OCOP products, including: 148 cooperatives, 102 households, 39 enterprises and 15 cooperative groups. Notably, there are 117 entities represented by women and 105 entities are ethnic minorities. This shows the diversity and high community spirit in developing OCOP products locally.
ATTRACTING 95 INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN INDUSTRIAL PACKS
Thai Nguyen currently plans 68 industrial clusters, with 40 industrial cluster investment projects with a scale of more than 1,566 hectares, and a total investment capital of more than 16 trillion VND. PROPOSED SOLUTION FOR HANDLING SURPLUS HEADQUARTERS AFTER MERGER
As of mid-July, Phu Tho province has reviewed and recorded 1,021 surplus houses and land that need to be managed, exploited or converted. To avoid wasting resources, the Department of Finance has proposed many solutions. Specifically, 116 facilities are proposed to be transferred to serve as headquarters for state agencies, 291 facilities can be converted into schools, medical stations, cultural houses, etc., and 228 other facilities will be assigned to the Land Fund Development Center for management. According to statistics, there are still 386 facilities without a plan for use, and localities are required to complete the proposal by August. If handled promptly and effectively, the surplus assets after the merger will not only reduce the budget burden but also become a valuable resource for urban development goals, improving public services and social security.
TUYEN QUANG COMPLETES REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY HOUSES FOR MERITIOUS PEOPLE
To date, Tuyen Quang province has completed the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for policy families and meritorious people. Specifically, 1,065 households have been newly built or old houses have been repaired, reaching 100% of the plan. Also on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the province organized visits and presented gifts to 23,829 meritorious people and relatives of martyrs with a total amount of nearly 11.5 billion VND. Of which, there were 10,897 gifts from the President; 12,645 gifts from the province to policy beneficiaries and meritorious people.
