Logistics Forum 2025 “Logistics solutions for sustainable and stable supply chains”

On the afternoon of July 25, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Logistics Forum 2025 was successfully held with the theme "Logistics solutions for sustainable and stable supply chains", attracting more than 250 delegates representing state management agencies, industry associations, logistics - export enterprises and domestic and international experts.

The event, chaired by the Department of Foreign Market Development - Ministry of Industry and Trade , aims to analyze modern supply chain operation trends, discuss solutions for connecting intermodal transport, multimodal logistics and enhance the adaptive capacity of Vietnamese enterprises in the context of many global fluctuations.

In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thao Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade) emphasized that logistics is an important pillar to help stabilize the supply chain, improve competitiveness and promote exports. In the context of Vietnam's deep integration, logistics needs to be developed in sync with the market development strategy, through multimodal transport, modernizing the port system and supporting businesses to build an efficient and sustainable supply chain.

At the forum, Ms. Dinh Thi Bao Linh - Deputy Director of the Center for Industry and Trade Information of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - gave a presentation providing an overview of the current logistics situation, highlighting the challenges that businesses are facing as well as development opportunities in the context of changing global trade. Representatives of the Qingdao Port Authority (China) - one of the largest seaports in the world shared their experience in planning and operating ports in China, especially the duty-free port model, integrated logistics center and application of technology in management and operation. Speaking at the forum, Mr. Juergen Weber - Chairman of the Transport and Logistics Subcommittee, EuroCham also stated that Vietnam has great potential to become a new logistics center in the region if it continues to improve infrastructure, simplify procedures and develop green logistics, and proposed to strengthen public-private partnership, promote digital transformation and improve the quality of human resources.

At the thematic discussion session, representatives of many typical enterprises in the logistics sector such as Saigon Newport Corporation, Ratraco Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company, Viet Thong, and international partners such as Dunkerque Port (France) shared practical experiences in implementing international logistics, developing multimodal transport and connecting inter-regional economic corridors. The discussion focused on optimal supply chain solutions, integrating sea - rail - road transport, and enhancing public - private cooperation in developing logistics infrastructure. Opinions at the discussion session showed that Vietnamese logistics enterprises are proactively innovating their operating methods, expanding international cooperation and leveraging technology to improve competitiveness. This reflects the positive changes of the logistics industry in adapting to the global context and increasing demands from export markets.

The Logistics Forum 2025 was successfully held, creating an open and substantive exchange space between management agencies, industry associations, experts and domestic and international enterprises. Delegates shared a lot of updated information, practical experiences and cooperation models in the field of logistics and supply chains. Contents such as developing multimodal transport, promoting the connection of port infrastructure - logistics centers, strengthening regional connectivity and expanding international logistics corridors were discussed enthusiastically. The participation of international partners such as Qingdao Port (China), Dunkerque Port (France), EuroCham and many large domestic enterprises showed the potential for deep cooperation in developing sustainable and stable supply chains. Through the forum, the Vietnamese business community has more information and orientation to adjust logistics strategies, expand connections and enhance competitiveness in regional and global markets.
