At the program, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper awarded 30 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to poor and studious students - children who are diligently going to school in the middle of the remote mountainous border area.

On this occasion, Nong Thon Viet Magazine - the initiator of the program "Border Love" - presented 50 million VND contributed by benefactors and philanthropists to support three schools in the area, including: Tan Thuong Kindergarten, Thuong Trach Primary School No. 1 and No. 2.
This money will be used to purchase books, school supplies and necessary equipment, helping students prepare well for the new school year 2025 - 2026.
In addition, the delegation also presented 2 gift boxes of necessities to Ca Roong Border Guard Station.

Thuong Trach is a mountainous commune with rugged terrain and difficult roads, with over 95% of the population being ethnic minorities. Life is still full of deprivation, especially for school-age children.
Timely material and spiritual support is a great motivation for children to continue studying and nurture their dreams.

The gift-giving ceremony was an activity following the martyrs' gratitude night "Singing for those who remain in the great forest" held at the Truong Son Martyrs' Memorial Temple, Ca Roong Center - ATP Road 20 Quyet Thang.
The program "Border Affection" was launched by Nong Thon Viet Magazine in 2015, with the goal of connecting social resources to show gratitude to previous generations and practically care for the lives of people and soldiers in border areas.
Over nearly a decade of implementation, the program has contributed to the construction of Martyrs' Memorial Temples and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Churches on former battlefields; provided material support for border posts; improved rural infrastructure in remote areas; and regularly organized activities to award scholarships, Tet gifts, and provide emergency relief after natural disasters.

With the support of many press agencies, social organizations and communities, the program continues to spread the spirit of mutual love and support, contributing to the sustainable development of border localities - which used to be the front line of war, and today is the front line of preservation and construction.
