Strong teams won tickets to the quarterfinals of the U.21 national tournament

U.21 PVF had already secured a ticket to the quarter-finals in Group B, so the match against U.21 TP.HCM was just a formality. Meanwhile, TP.HCM needed at least 1 point to qualify for the next round, so they played cautiously, aiming to play slowly and steadily to ensure the safety of their net against a PVF team with a better squad. And U.21 TP.HCM achieved their goal when they got 1 point against their opponent after a 0-0 draw.

U.21 PVF wins early ticket

Both having entered the semi-finals early, the match between U.21 LPBank HAGL I and U.21 Hanoi was only to determine the top spot. In the first half, the two teams played quite evenly. With that situation, both LPBank HAGL I and Hanoi did not create many scoring opportunities towards each other's goal. In the second half, the deadlock was soon broken in the 53rd minute, Thien Phu headed the goal for Hanoi. The situation forced LPBank HAGL I to push forward and the efforts of the young team from the mountain town were also rewarded with Gia Bao's equalizer 1-1 from a header. With this result, Hanoi and LPBank HAGL I both had 7 points, but U.21 LPBank HAGL I was in the lead due to a better sub-index.

In the remaining match of this group, U.21 Dong Thap defeated U.21 Dak Lak with a score of 3-1. However, Dak Lak surprised everyone by taking the lead in the 41st minute thanks to Trung Thanh after a breakthrough and a direct shot in front of Dong Thap's goal. In the 51st minute, Hoai Nhan successfully executed a penalty kick to start the comeback for the young team from the West. In the 64th minute, Phu Cuong delicately placed the ball to increase the score to 2-1 before Huu Thien's close-range shot in the 81st minute sealed the victory for Dong Thap.
