Gold bar prices fluctuate, fuel prices fluctuate in opposite directions

During the past week (from July 21 to 25), the price of gold bars fluctuated a lot. At one point in the middle of the week, SJC gold bars were sold at 122.7 million VND/tael. By the end of the week, the price of SJC gold bars suddenly decreased by 1 million VND/tael compared to the middle of the week, with the buying price at 119.7 million VND/tael and the selling price at 121.7 million VND/tael.

Fuel prices fluctuated in opposite directions. Accordingly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND202/liter, to VND19,279/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND216/liter, to VND19,709/liter. Meanwhile, the price of diesel increased by VND330/liter, to VND19,129/liter; kerosene increased by VND199/liter, to VND18,628/liter. Particularly, fuel oil decreased by VND99/kg, to VND15,379/kg.

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade), the price of live pigs in localities in the province last week was around 64-75 thousand VND/kg depending on the area. At class I markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam..., the prices of many types of food were quite stable. Specifically, pork leg costs from 110-130 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet from 230-250 thousand VND/kg, grade 1 squid from 180-200 thousand VND/kg, chicken eggs, grade 1 duck eggs cost from 25-32 thousand VND/dozen...
