Eze becomes Arsenal's next transfer target. |
Gyokeres becomes Arsenal's sixth signing in the summer of 2025, following Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera. However, the London team is not stopping there.
According to The Independent , Arsenal are planning to negotiate to recruit Eberechi Eze. This player had a brilliant 2024/25 season and was the author of the decisive goal to help Crystal Palace beat Man City in the FA Cup final in May.
Eze is said to be keen on a move to the Emirates and those close to him believe a deal will be completed in the coming weeks. The England midfielder currently has a £68m release clause, but Arsenal are trying to negotiate a price of around £60m.
Coach Mikel Arteta also confirmed: "The market is still long and we are still looking. The current squad is lacking in quantity and needs to improve in depth and quality. We are always closely monitoring opportunities."
If they successfully recruit Eze, Arsenal will have another player with a lot of potential, promising to significantly increase the creativity of the midfield next season.
In the past, Arsenal's owners have been criticized for being stingy. But now, things are changing rapidly. After three consecutive seasons finishing second in the Premier League, Arsenal has spent heavily in the transfer market to quench its thirst for titles.
