On the afternoon of July 27, the quarter-finals of the 2025 National U.21 Championship took place with great drama. The first match between U.21 Da Nang and U.21 Hanoi ended in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes of play. Despite creating several scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to score, forcing the match to be resolved by a penalty shootout. In this shootout, Hanoi won with a score of 5-4, earning the right to enter the semi-finals.

The quarter-final match between U.21 PVF-CAND and U.21 The Cong Viettel was tense. The Cong Viettel dominated the first half but could not create a clear chance to score. After the first 45 minutes, the score was still 0-0. In the second half, PVF-CAND continued to defend to bring the match to a penalty shootout. Although The Cong Viettel persisted in attacking, the deadlock in their attacks prevented them from ending the match in the official 90 minutes. In the end, The Cong Viettel won 5-4 on penalties, winning the last ticket to the semi-finals.
