Attending the Congress were comrade Tieu Hong Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council; comrade Truong Minh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union and nearly 150 party members of the commune Party Committee.
Tuy Phong is a commune formed from the merger of Phong Phu and Phan Dung communes. Tuy Phong commune has a natural area of 444.1 km2 with potential land and forest for agricultural and forestry development. During the past term, the Party Committee and People of the commune have promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, and efforts to implement the Party Congress resolution and achieved many positive results: 11/15 targets were achieved and exceeded; 3 key tasks and 2 breakthrough areas were effectively implemented; the economic structure shifted in the right direction; cultural and social issues were given attention and improved; the material and spiritual life of the people was increasingly improved; national defense, political security, and social order were maintained and stabilized. The political system was given attention, consolidated, and improved, meeting the requirements of the assigned tasks.
With the theme: "Building a clean, strong Party, government, and Fatherland Front of the commune, operating effectively, efficiently, and effectively; maintaining solidarity among ethnic groups in the commune; ensuring national defense and security; promoting potential, advantages, creativity, and confidence to build Tuy Phong commune to develop rapidly, synchronously, and with affection", the 1st Congress of Tuy Phong Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, set out important tasks. The Congress set out 9 important targets to strive for Tuy Phong commune to develop in the coming time, such as: Striving by 2030, there will be no more poor households (according to multidimensional standards for the period 2021-2025); over 50% of schools meet national standards, the rate of people participating in health insurance reaches 95%; the rate of households using clean water reaches 65%, hygienic water reaches 99%; 97% of households are recognized as "Cultural Families"; 99% of villages are recognized and maintain the title of cultural villages...; promote the building of a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management; mobilize and effectively use resources to invest in socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people...

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Tuy Phong commune in the past term. Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc emphasized that Tuy Phong commune currently has a large development space but also has many challenges, especially the economic structure and economic scale are still quite modest, the population is scattered, and the infrastructure is still limited.
To further develop Tuy Phong commune in the coming time, comrade Tieu Hong Phuc suggested that the Party Committee and the people of Tuy Phong commune continue to promote the good tradition, focus on building solidarity, promote the role of a typical nucleus, the center of solidarity and cohesion of comrades in the Party Executive Committee. The Party Committee of the commune needs to focus on leading the state management work in the fields of land, mineral resources, forest resource protection, effectively resolving pending cases, files, and petitions, especially cases and matters that have not been resolved when merging commune-level administrative units and receiving when terminating the operations of district-level administrative units.
Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune need to focus on leading, directing, and shifting the agricultural economic structure towards selecting key crops and livestock; building new and effective economic development models, associated with promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology in production. Researching and effectively exploiting the potential of forest resources, developing forestry models combined with eco-tourism, outdoor tourism associated with conservation and promoting the effectiveness of festivals of ethnic minorities in the commune. Comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, especially vulnerable groups such as: Poor households, ethnic minorities.

Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc also requested Tuy Phong Commune Party Committee to carry out Party building work well, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system. Strengthen inspection, supervision, and prevention of corruption and negativity. Lead comprehensive and effective innovation in mass mobilization work and the operation methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local socio-political organizations.
In their working positions, each cadre and party member needs to clearly identify their responsibilities, promote their abilities, strengths and accumulated knowledge, and quickly get to work with the spirit of "Dare to think, dare to do; dare to take responsibility; dare to innovate; dare to face difficulties and challenges and dare to act for the common good", unite, join forces, be unanimous, overcome difficulties, and be determined to complete assigned tasks well.
