On the morning of August 26, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University issued a notice on handling candidates who achieved higher exam scores than the standard score but have not yet received admission notice.
Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City commits to ensuring the rights of qualified candidates admitted to the school in 2025.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University affirms that qualified candidates for admission to the majors of law, economic law, and economic law (partial English) will be considered for admission and enrolled at the school in accordance with regulations.
The announcement of Ho Chi Minh City Banking University clearly stated: The school's admission principles have been announced through the Admission Project (No. 1920/QD/DHNH dated June 11) and the admission principles in the announcement of the threshold score to ensure input quality (No. 1122/TB-DHNH-HDTS dated July 23).
For law, economic law, economic law (partial English), the minimum total admission score is 18 (on a 30-point scale).
Subject combinations with math and literature or math or literature must achieve a minimum score of 6 points or higher on a 10-point scale. For other methods, math and literature scores are converted to the corresponding 10-point scale.
To ensure the Ministry of Education and Training confirms admission before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University requests candidates with questions about admission results to send information to the school's admissions department for timely support.
Previously, the Lao Dong Newspaper reported on the evening of August 25 that on forums for students, many parents and candidates said they had missed the opportunity to enter the law and economic law majors of the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City even though their exam scores were higher than the standard scores announced by the school.
"The school's sudden adjustment of admission requirements for these three majors has left many candidates disappointed and unable to get into their dream university. We were "unable to react" to this adjustment," said a candidate.
