NDO - In the opening match of the U20 Asian qualifiers on the evening of September 23, the U20 Vietnam team had a convincing performance when defeating U20 Bhutan with an overwhelming score of 5-0.
This match marked a strong start for
coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team , although the starting lineup was not the strongest. Key players such as Long Vu, Cong Phuong and Tran Gia Bao were given a break in the first half, but U20 Vietnam still completely controlled the game from the very first minutes. After only 8 minutes of play, U20 Vietnam opened the score thanks to a powerful shot by Bao Long. The player currently playing for PVF-Cong An Nhan Dan not only scored but also showed excellent form on the left wing, helping Vietnam gain an early advantage. However, after the opening goal, U20 Vietnam did not create many dangerous opportunities.
