On November 12, Vingroup announced that VinFast delivered more than 11,000 electric cars of all kinds to customers in October, bringing the cumulative total to more than 51,000 units, becoming the leading car brand in the Vietnamese market in terms of sales in the past 10 months.

The number of electric cars delivered by VinFast to customers in October increased by 21% compared to the previous month, of which the two best-selling models were VF 3 with nearly 5,000 vehicles delivered and VF 5 with more than 2,600 vehicles delivered.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman and Global CEO of VinFast, said that this achievement was thanks to the joint efforts of hundreds of thousands of VinFast customers, who were brave and pioneers in supporting a young Vietnamese brand. Thanks to consumers who have persistently used and commented on VinFast products and services since the early days, the car company has made remarkable improvements and progress in product and service quality.

The billionaire thanked all staff of VinFast and Vingroup for "overcoming many difficulties, doubts, and even slander and sabotage from ill-intentioned people; we have been determined, creative, and dedicated to fulfilling our mission."

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong committed that VinFast will not stop at the achieved results but will continuously research and seek solutions to improve product and service quality to make customers more and more satisfied.

Currently, VinFast sells 7 electric car models in the Vietnamese market in all segments from mini-SUV to E-SUV for all customer segments.

In July, VinFast announced an adjustment to its vehicle delivery target of about 80,000 vehicles this year (compared to the initial 100,000 vehicles), an increase of 2.3 times compared to 2023 (34,855 vehicles).

The company explained that economic uncertainties and global challenges require a more cautious strategy in the remaining months.

"The adjustment of the target is to ensure sustainable development for VinFast in the context of economic fluctuations. The company will focus on implementing a more cautious expansion plan to take advantage of opportunities in some key potential markets, optimize cost and resource management, and improve operational and business efficiency ," said the VinFast leader.
