Viettel Money received the 'Product of the Year' award

On November 22, 2023, Business Intelligence Group (BIG) announced the list of 81 leaders, businesses, and products that won the BIG Awards for Business 2023. Accordingly, Viettel Money has proven its effectiveness and valuable contributions to users and society.

With more than 300 features and utilities personalized to each customer, Viettel Money has met many of people's digital financial needs, from bill payment, deposit/transfer/withdrawal, credit services..., using only a phone number, no Internet required, regardless of mobile device.

In addition, Viettel Money also demonstrates its pioneering role in popularizing digital payments and digital finance to all people through the projects "Market 4.0" and "Commune 4.0", so that people everywhere can benefit from the superior utilities that the ecosystem brings.

According to Viettel Money, up to now, Viettel Money has had many remarkable growths with a record of nearly 1 billion transactions/year. Currently, Viettel Money has nearly 25 million customers, Mobile Money has nearly 4 million subscribers, the goal is to reach 5 million users by the end of 2023. The number of customers using Viettel's Mobile Money currently accounts for more than 70% of the total number of Mobile Money customers nationwide, of which 74% of users live in rural and remote areas.

Viettel Money representative also said that Viettel Money is currently leading in transaction scale in many fields, especially essential services of life such as: payment of electricity, water,education , transportation, telecommunications, public administrative services..., contributing to the mission of developing non-cash payment activities, increasing access to financial services, especially in rural areas, mountainous areas, remote areas, border areas and islands of Vietnam.

Ms. Maria Jimenez - representative of the Organizing Committee of BIG Awards for Business 2023 congratulated Viettel Money on the award and hoped that the units would continue to strive and innovate for the mission of creating a new life, becoming a comprehensive digital financial ecosystem for all people.

Viettel Money representative shared: “The award is a recognition of Viettel Money’s role in efforts to popularize digital payments. Not only that, this is also a motivation for us to further develop Viettel Money, contributing to promoting the socio-economy , creating many values, helping people benefit from the digitalization of the economy”.

Organized by Business Intelligence Group (BIG), the annual BIG Awards for Business 2023 honors leaders, organizations, units, and products that are leading in their fields from countries, regions, and territories around the world. The awards are judged not only by experienced business executives, but also through a proprietary scoring system that selectively measures a variety of business sectors.

This year, with 12 award categories presented, honoring 81 global leaders and businesses, the BIG Awards 2023 is a recognition of the incredible achievements of companies, contributing to promoting innovation, development and creating positive impacts on the community.
