Vietnam Airlines opens direct flight Hanoi

From June 26, 2024, Vietnam Airlines officially launched a direct flight between Hanoi and Chengdu, connecting the thousand-year-old capital of Vietnam with the "fertile land" of Sichuan province (China).

The inaugural flight from Hanoi to Chengdu, flight number VN 552, departed from Noi Bai Airport at 23:00 on June 25 and landed at Tianfu Airport (Chengdu) at 02:05 on June 26 (local time). In the opposite direction, flight number VN 553 from Chengdu to Hanoi departed at 03:05 and landed at 04:20 on June 26. Passengers on the inaugural flights were presented with flowers, souvenirs and a special welcome at the airport.

Vietnam Airlines operates flights between Hanoi and Chengdu with a frequency of 4 flights per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
