Accordingly, the Prime Minister decided to establish the APEC 2027 National Committee to assist the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and coordinating the settlement of tasks related to the preparation and organization of conferences and related activities of APEC Year 2027.
The National Committee is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and includes the following members:

Comrade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Vice Chairman of the National Committee,

Comrade Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission,

Comrade Ho Van Mung, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee,
Comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Head of the Office of the President,

Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security,

Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Inspector General of Government,
Comrade Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice President of Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry.
Based on the reality and requirements of the nature of the work, the Chairman of the National Committee considers and decides to add and adjust members who are leaders of relevant agencies and localities.
The National Committee is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing, urging and coordinating between the Sub-Committees and the Secretariat, ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies in the process of preparing and organizing conferences and activities of APEC Year 2027.
The National Committee consists of 5 Sub-Committees and the Secretariat. The Sub-Committees include representatives of key ministries, branches and localities.

Content Subcommittee: Co-chaired by the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, members include leaders of the Office of the President, the Government Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Material and Logistics Subcommittee: Chaired by the leader of the Government Office, members include leaders of the Office of the President, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security and An Giang Provincial People's Committee.
Security and Health Subcommittee: Chaired by the leader of the Ministry of Public Security, members include leaders of the Government Office, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and An Giang Provincial People's Committee.
Propaganda and Culture Subcommittee: Chaired by the leader of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members include leaders of the Office of the President, the Government Office, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the People's Committee of An Giang province.
Protocol Subcommittee: Chaired by the leader of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members include leaders of the Office of the President, the Government Office, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of An Giang province.
The agencies assigned to chair and co-chair the Sub-Committees shall draft the decision to establish and the operating regulations of the Sub-Committees, which specifically stipulate the composition of participating agencies, organization, functions, tasks, operating regulations, and coordination mechanism, and submit them to the Chairman of the National Committee for consideration and decision within 30 days after the National Committee is established.
The Secretariat is a permanent body assisting the National Committee, chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under the direct direction of the Chairman of the Committee, with representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall draft a decision to establish the Secretariat, specifying the composition of participating agencies, organization, functions, tasks, operating regulations, and coordination mechanism, and submit it to the Chairman of the National Committee for consideration and decision within 30 days after the National Committee is established.
The National Committee will cease its activities after completing its tasks of organizing, summarizing and finalizing the activities of APEC Year 2027.
