In the quarter-finals of the Women's 3-Cushion Carom Billiards World Championship held in France from September 10 to 12, 2024, Vietnamese female player Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi defeated her opponent and made history by reaching the semi-finals of the world tournament for the first time and winning the Bronze Medal at the tournament. Yen Nhi's achievement also contributed to affirming the position of Vietnamese 3-Cushion Carom Billiards in the international arena.
