On July 2, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security ( Hanoi ), a press conference was held to announce the 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament.
Speaking at the event, Colonel Pham Kim Dinh - Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, said: "This is the fourth time Vietnam has hosted the tournament. The previous tournaments were held in 1998, 2007, 2012, all of which were successful and spread traditional values and national pride.
The players participating in this year's tournament are mainly police officers from various countries. Because the national championships in the countries in the region have just ended, professional players are on vacation, so calling them up requires consideration from the clubs. Therefore, we prioritize the police force."
