On the morning of August 11, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Document Subcommittee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, chaired the Standing meeting of the Document Subcommittee.

The meeting aims to give opinions on the draft documents and draft program of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Delegates attending the meeting listened to the representative of the Document Subcommittee's Editorial Team report on the preparation and drafting of the Document to be submitted to the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the progress and content of implementation are guaranteed to comply with the Central's progress requirements and the Editorial Team's Plan.

The process of building the Document had the participation and extensive comments of former provincial leaders through the periods, scientists , intellectuals, and member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province.

At the same time, the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the three provinces before the merger and the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the new Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee have been approved many times; comments and suggestions have been received at the Congress of Party Committees of communes, wards and special zones and comments and suggestions have been received at the First Session of the Document Subcommittee.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee on Documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress and delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on the draft Political Report and the draft Review Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term to be submitted to the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh chaired the discussion and comments session.

Most opinions said that the Congress theme was comprehensive, ensuring 4 elements: about the Party; about national defense and security; about solidarity and about the economic development goals of the province. However, some opinions said that the Congress theme, besides showing the determination of the entire Provincial Party Committee, needs to promote the great national solidarity bloc because Lam Dong is a province with many ethnic communities living together.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy commented on the Congress topic.

In addition, delegates also suggested adjusting some indicators on economic and social development such as: gross domestic product growth rate (GRDP); multidimensional poverty rate; agricultural indicators; trained labor rate... Delegates also suggested innovating the growth model, economic model structure... to improve people's income and living standards.

At the same time, delegates contributed opinions on a number of contents such as: the need to include the horizontal expressway project in the key projects of the 2025 - 2030 term to create convenient traffic, regional connectivity; breakthroughs in science and technology; attracting investment, especially in the fields of renewable energy, bauxite...
