In response to that need, NDAChain was introduced as a blockchain platform developed by the National Data Center, aiming to build a secure, transparent and difficult-to-edit digital infrastructure.
Simply put, NDAChain is a Layer 1 blockchain that acts as an intermediary in authenticating data from the National Data Center to people and businesses.
Operating at Layer 1, NDAChain acts as the “backbone” connecting solution and application layers (Layer 2, Layer 3) in the national digital ecosystem.
NDAChain is designed with a four-layer structure: a network layer with a processing capacity of 1,200 - 3,600 transactions per second; a storage layer that ensures encryption and data immutability; an application layer with an open API for broad integration; and a security layer that uses zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) authentication technology combined with multi-layered identification.
The platform is also built to be compatible with international standards such as W3C DID, Verifiable Credentials and GDPR, aiming for cross-border connectivity and integration with the global ecosystem.
NDAChain is expected to have high applicability in many fields. In the food, pharmaceutical and health product industries, the platform can help authenticate the origin and monitor the supply chain, supporting businesses in preventing counterfeit goods. In manufacturing and logistics, NDAChain can serve to automate the reconciliation of operational data, reduce costs and increase reliability when cooperating with partners. Ineducation , finance and insurance, the platform supports the authentication of records, contracts and customer identification, contributing to reducing fraud and improving the digital experience.
The development of NDAChain comes as Vietnam pushes to build a domestic technology infrastructure to ensure digital sovereignty and reduce dependence on foreign platforms. However, there is still little public information about the scale of actual deployment as well as specific use cases.
In parallel with NDAChain, a number of other domestic blockchain projects such as HCM57 Network are also being developed by the private sector with similar orientations in data authentication and supporting digital transformation.
With a design focused on security, scalability and integration, NDAChain is part of the effort to build a digital infrastructure platform that serves the country's long-term goals.
