Central rate continues to increase

This morning, the central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar increased by 12 VND to 25,240 VND/USD.

According to the regulated trading band of ±5%, today's ceiling exchange rate is 26,502 VND/USD, and the floor exchange rate is 23,978 VND/USD.

The reference buying and selling exchange rates at the State Bank of Vietnam are currently 24,017-26,439 VND/USD.

Commercial banks listed buying and selling prices with opposite adjustments. Vietcombank listed 26,020-26,380 VND/USD, down 20 VND in both buying and selling prices compared to the end of the previous day.

Similarly, early this morning, BIDV also listed 26,020-26,380 VND/USD, down 20 VND, down 20 VND for both buying and selling compared to yesterday.

Techcombank listed the exchange rate at 25,945-26,478 VND/USD for small denominations of USD; 25,985-26,418 VND/USD for denominations of 5-10-20 USD.

With denominations of 50-100 USD, Techcombank lists 26,048-26,390 VND/USD for transfer transactions; 26,411 VND/USD for purchases by cash or check.

This morning, the Chinese Yuan (CNY) exchange rate also turned down. Vietcombank listed the buying and selling prices at 3,585-3,700 VND/CNY, down 11 VND for both buying and selling compared to yesterday. BIDV listed the prices at 3,593-3,691 VND/CNY, down 12 VND for both buying and selling.

On the free market, the exchange rate is around 26,440-26,450 VND/USD, unchanged from yesterday's session.
