On the afternoon of July 17, the University of Health Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City National University held a ceremony to announce and award the decisions to appoint the President and Vice President of the University of Health Sciences.

At the announcement ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, presented the Decision to transfer Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang, Director of the Center for Research on Nanostructured and Molecular Materials to the position of Rector of the University of Health Sciences .

Along with that, the Decision to appoint Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Pham Anh Vu Thuy, Head of the Faculty of Dentistry to hold the position of Vice Rector of the University of Health Sciences was awarded; Master Nguyen Hoang Dung, Interim Vice Rector of the University of Health Sciences to hold the position of Vice Rector of the University of Health Sciences.

In his speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan congratulated the newly appointed personnel to key positions at the University of Health Sciences.

Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang was born in 1979 in Thai Binh (now Hung Yen province). He received his PhD in Advanced Materials Science and Technology from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea in 2009 and was appointed Professor of Physics in 2022.

Up to now, Professor, Dr. Phan Bach Thang has published more than 200 articles in SCIE Journal (10 international publications published in scientific journals in the Nature index); co-author of 2 international patents (USA, Korea), editor of 1 monograph...
